Zine is a word for any self published book-style work. They can be folded, stapled, stab bound, or glued. They can be filled with poetry, stories, recipes, or essays. You can do whatever you want with them, and no one can tell you otherwise. At Zineophilia we teach you how to make all sorts of zines, with all the materials provided.
Make Friends
As well as making art, we want to make a community. Zineophilia is an inclusive event that aims to make a space safe for everyone no matter who you are or where you come from. Meet new people, and make things in a warm and friendly environment.
Zines are an easy way to express yourself, regardless of theme. They can be used to explore any topic in any style. Whether repurposing images through collage, illustrating them yourself, presenting your own photography, or entirely through text a zine caters for them all.
